Ten and SixTen and Six are an interesting indie band from Michigan. They employ a range of instruments into their music, bells in particular which offer quite a unique sound.

Ten and Six started out as a cover band before beginning to produce their own material. They’re first self-titled EP was released in April and is available for just $4.95 here. They also go for the Radiohead, In Rainbows approach of giving fans the option  to download the whole thing hassle free first here at 320kbps quality.

I’ve included the video to their song ‘Bedside Regiments’ below, it’s very impressive.

Jamie TJamie T is an English spoken word/bass/acoustic act who released his first album ‘Panic Prevention’ in 2007. It reached #4 in the U.K charts and it’s a great record which I recommend getting someway or another. Jamie T is also playing Reading Festival this year but I didn’t manage to get tickets. (anyone want to give me some?) He’s due to release a follow up EP on the 29th June called ‘Sticks and Stones’.

I’ve managed to procure a rough version of the title track, enjoy (:

imagineIAMimagineIAM is from Louisiana and is one of the most interesting artists I’ve come across (thanks Scott) He’s currently working with Hand On The Plow and released his debut single in January which is available on iTunes.

imagineIAM’s style mixes unusual vocals and percussive samples into an intricate and precise rhythm. There’s a lot of passion thrown into the mix and I’m expecting to see more from this artist.

Here’s his interpretation of his sound…
“My music enters this dimension pretty much smack-dab in the the middle of all music ’styles’, since it is so exact in its presence, and it simply comes to me just as definite as the sun simply shines… I throw in some extras to make it more sassy, crunk, ridiculous, holy’n’profane, sacred and shut up… with ninja blood sparkling deep electric it dares and blooms forth beyond the known edge creating a new world celebration… unconquerablly creative and classy…”
