Directed by Philippe Grenade, ‘I Was A Bomb’ is the debut music video of the band Silent Rider, a downtempo, bass heavy group.

The black and white narrative, shot on the RED in New York’s Appalachia, follows a man and woman as they trek the landscape in search of some enigmatic form of nourishment. After what seems like a dreary and fruitless journey, they stumble upon what they’ve been tracking, culminating in a haunting sequence of events.

The Civilization EP will be the most significant release since Justice’s ‘Cross’ back in 2007. Scheduled for release on June 6th, it is currently unclear what other tracks the Civilization EP will contain but it is known it features a remix from Mr. Oizo. There’s also word of a currently untitled second album set for release in autumn. Exciting times.

With the King Felix EP released in April and now this remix, Laurel Halo is still very much active in a scene of her own. In keeping the tightly bound sound of BRAHMS’ whilst adding her own unique, transdimensional qualities to the music, this track has the perfect balance all remixes should have but very rarely do. I’m sure we can expect to see a lot more from both BRAHMS and Laurel Halo in the future.

Below, the video to Laurel Halo‘s remix of BRAHMS’ Another Time.

No dates in other continents have yet been announced but it is still being called a world tour so I expect they will be in the near future.

Scrambler Seequill is the collaborative music and production project by Michael Gamble (Scrambler) and Devin Febbroriello (Seequill). Coming from such different backgrounds as conservatory trained musician and d.i.y. art activist, Scrambler and Seequill have found a meeting place to channel their visions and voices dualistically. Drawing from various inspirations, and experiences a certain sound and message is earnestly delivered.

Scrambler Seequill’s psychedelic prog rock, is punctuated by complex arrangements yet catchy art pop hooks. A swirling cascade of opposites comprise their poetically charming sound. Songs written under covers, at night and at dawn over coffee, during good years and bad years, about something, for no one and anyone who wonders why.
